A double-glazed unit alone does not define whole-window performance. Frame series, glass make-up, spacer, size, seals and installation details all contribute. Published Uw and SHGC ranges provide product-level guidance, while the project energy report identifies the required values.
Residential products list available glazing from 6–22 mm, while selected commercial systems list 6–32 mm. The actual unit must be confirmed against the window schedule, glass supplier information and selected frame.
